One of my favourite aspects of baking is being able to take a classic recipe and putting a twist on it. After all, why change something that is delicious to begin with unless it is to make it even better! My family’s all-time favourite cookies are without a doubt chocolate chip.
You can pair them with milk, eat them warm, or simply enjoy them straight out of the fridge. They satisfy the need for something chewy as well as something chocolaty! I have a few different recipes I use for chocolate chip cookies, but my most recent favourite comes from the Kirkland Chocolate Chips that you can find at Costco! I simply gave them a splash of colour and Valentine Chocolate Chip Cookies were born!

I am always a day late and a dollar short, of course I find this recipe after Valentine’s, but I think this recipe can just as easily be used for Easter with different colors too. Love it.
