Valentine’s Day has always been one of my very favourite holidays. I can think of no better way than to start Valentine’s Day off right than by saying I love you with a hot breakfast!
In my home, pancakes are always a huge hit. My children love them as does my husband. I personally love that they can be made very quickly in the morning and without hassle.
So for Valentine’s Day, why not surprise your loved ones with a fun twist on a classic, Valentine’s Day Breakfast Pancakes! Best of all, even your little ones can help in the kitchen to make dad or mom breakfast from the heart!
Valentine’s Day Breakfast Pancakes
You Will Need:
♥ Pancake Mix (prepared as instructed)
♥ Butter
♥ Syrup
♥ Cookie Cutters {Love themed}
♥ Sprinkles
Prepare pancakes as directed. Spread on butter and use cookie cutter to create desired shape. Pour on syrup and top with sprinkles!
The cookie cutter shapes I enjoy using are a heart, envelope and winged heart. They are fun and so easy to use. My favourite was using the heart cutter and incorporating the remaining pancake by pouring the syrup in the cut out heart area. It allows no waste and keeps the syrup from running all over the plate.
Be creative and enjoy!
