Life is busy. We are constantly going from one thing to the next, worrying about finances, kids and everything else we can fit into our day. For those with cats, you already know that life can seem to halt to a stop for a few minutes with the gentle meow of a kitten or furry lap snuggles.

It isn’t much of a stretch when it comes to 5 Reasons Life is Better with a Cat. From kittenhood to cathood, your furry friend just keeps on giving.

10 reasons life is better with a cat5 Reasons Why Life is Better With a Cat

Companionship – Your cat is there for you 24/7. You don’t have to ever watch a movie alone. Plus, your cat loves all the same television programs that you do! We both know you can’t say that about your significant other!

Stress Relief – Stress happens. Thankfully, your cat is there to help you cope. When you are feeling overwhelmed, just pull out a cat toy. You will both enjoy the time together and watch the stress melt away!,

Free Snuggles – We have all heard about the snuggling services many are offering. These services are pricey and honestly, a little weird. Thankfully, your cat loves snuggles and you can tip in catnip!

Lap Warmer – Nothing is quite as fantastic as a hot drink and a warm lap. Cats are experts at loafing, so you know your cat will be up for the task of lap warmer!

Love – No one can deny that a cat has just as much love to give as we do. Through head rubs, kitty kisses and that adoring look they give you, your cat shows love to you. You can’t beat that!

I haven’t had a cat in years. I remember the last ones we had were kittens that were born when their momma gave birth in our garage. She disappeared about a month later & we got them to come to us (eventually) & got them to the point where they could go to good homes.

I’m more of a dog person but I also like cats and I totally agree with all your reasons!

Those are wonderful reasons. When you are picking your cat look at it’s personality. A couple cat ago we had one that was fairly anti-social and pretty much wouldn’t deliver on any of the 5 listed benefits.
