With Valentine’s Day getting closer, I couldn’t help but snag the adorable heart-shaped sugar cookies from Pillsbury I found at the grocery store. I was drawn instantly to the pink and white colours from the fun packaging.
I knew I could make the cookies and then decorate them in way less time than if I had made them from scratch. These Be My Valentine Sugar Cookies not only taste as delicious as homemade, but they say I love you in so many ways!
Be My Valentine Sugar Cookies
You will need:
Pillsbury heart-shaped sugar cookies
Buttercream frosting – I recommend using my Best Ever Buttercream Frosting
Wilton #18 Tip
Piping Bag
Sprinkles After baking and cooling your cookies, they will be ready to decorate. My go-to frosting recipe is my Best Ever Buttercream Frosting. It will give you a firm frosting that will hold its shape on the cookies.
Prepare your piping bag with a Wilton #18 tip to get the fun star designs you see on my cookies. You can use any tip you choose depending on what you want to create or simply frost the buttercream on the cookies with a knife for a no-hassle cookie!
Sprinkles can be added for extra cuteness. Have fun and enjoy decorating!
