If it were up to my children, everything would include chocolate chips. Mind you, I can’t really blame them. On numerous occasions, I have even found my husband raiding the chocolate chip bag. Add to that the busy nature of being a mom and it can get downright hectic. The most hectic time of the day is normally breakfast.
I recently received a Breville No-Mess Waffle Maker, which just happened to be the perfect opportunity for me to make Chocolate Chip Waffles at home. Trust me, they turned out fabulous!
Chocolate Chip Waffles
The Breville No-Mess Waffle Maker is my very first at-home waffle maker. I had always been a fan of waffles, but honestly assumed they were ridiculously time consuming and hard to make. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The waffle maker was barely unpacked before I had it up and running.
I simply chose my preferred waffle setting, which just happens to be 2.5. For me, I love my waffles light and fluffy! As you can see, the waffles came out beautifully. Thanks to the awesomeness of the wrap around moat, I didn’t have a huge mess to clean up. I also have to tell you, the waffle maker is non-stick. Yes, NON-STICK. For this mom, this is the stuff dreams are made of! Can you say that about your waffle maker?
Chocolate Chip Waffles
You will need:
Pancake Mix
Chocolate Chips
Preheat waffle maker. Prepare your pancake mix as normal. Use 1/2 cup pancake mix in the waffle maker and add as many chocolate chips as desired. Close waffle maker and wait for finished signal!
