Throwing your coffee maker down the stairs is not a good sign. This was exactly what happened to our coffee maker several years ago when my husband had just had enough with it. It was a gift and while it made coffee, you seemed to more often than not end up with a pot of coffee grounds versus deliciously smooth coffee.
The coffee maker actually lived through that event and went on to make coffee for us for a couple more years. Mind you, it was despised most of the time. Thankfully, the day arrived when the coffee maker was thrown out for good. It was replaced by the Ninja Coffee Bar System and we haven’t looked back since!
The Ninja Coffee Bar System is so much more than just a coffee maker. To prove this, I made the most delicious Cookies and Cream Frappe thanks to my new best coffee friend!
You will need:
3 Ninja Big Scoops (4 tablespoons) ground coffee
2 cups ice
1/2 cup cookies and cream ice cream
5 chocolate sandwich cookies ( I used Oreos)
1/4 cup milk
Whipped cream
Place the coffee into the brew basket. Press the Specialty button. When brew is done, combine the coffee, ice, ice cream, 4 sandwich cookies and milk in a large blender. Blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses and top with whipped cream and cookie!
The Ninja Coffee Bar has made me a brew master in my own home! There are 5 brew types and 6 brew sizes to choose from. It has a built in hot and cold frother, which is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me! The filter is also permanent, so no more spending money on disposable coffee filters – Yay for me!
I gave the Ninja Coffee Bar to my husband for Christmas and honestly, it has been the best thing to happen to our coffee experiences in forever. We both enjoying brewing coffee again and I get the chance to create yummy coffee recipes! I never could have imagine how much fun having a coffee system would be, but here I am!

I have the Ninja Coffee Bar System but have not yet tried all the different options. This recipe looks delicious and I need to start trying it out. I will let you know what I think
