Creamy Banana Milkshake Recipe

We always enjoy an after-dinner dessert in my home. With kids, this usually means something child-friendly and quick. However, it is nice to change it up every now and again by enjoying a special treat that I don’t serve too often. Recently, that meant making Creamy Banana Milkshakes.

I wanted to make something delicious, but also something that I could make using ingredients I already had on hand. Since I had several bananas that had recently ripened, I decided it was time to use them up! My grandmother used to make these for my brother and I when we were children.

I still have so many fabulous memories surrounding visits with our grandmother and drinking banana milkshakes. Hopefully, one day my children will have some fabulous memories to pass along as well!

Creamy Banana Milkshake Recipe

Creamy Banana Milkshake

You will need:

  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 4 Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Cup Milk

Combine bananas, 5-6 scoops of ice cream and milk into mixer. Mix until combined.

For creamier milkshakes, use more scoops of ice cream!
