One of the best parts of a birthday party, besides the cake and gifts, has always been the goodie bags. I can remember several parties I attended as a child and I always loved getting the goodie bag at the end. It was always filled with child-friendly favourites that you could enjoy for hours!
When it came time for me to fill goodie bags for my daughter’s birthday, I was excited. I created DIY Birthday Goodie Bags that were fun, functional and sure to bring smiles!
DIY Birthday Goodie Bags
I went with a Hello Kitty theme for the bags because my daughter is a huge fan of Hello Kitty. Secondly, I visited two stores to find the goodies for the bags.
First, I visited a dollar store. I was able to snag Hello Kitty goodies (stickers/notes/games) for under $2! Secondly, I went to Fields. What I love about Fields is the variety of products they have for those on a budget.
I came away with Disney Frozen Lip Balm/Candy Rings, fairy wands, pink balloons and candy.
I was able to fill my DIY Goodie Bags for under $15 and they were such a huge hit for each of the little girls at the party. I encourage you to make your own and have a little fun with it!
