DIY Tea Station

I am a tea lover. I have been enjoying tea since my teens and find myself drinking a few cups a day at least. I consider myself a conservative tea drinker as I normally stick with my tried and true favourites.

For those who enjoy their tea as much as I do, you really must have a tea station in your home. It brings a touch of class to your tea experience and a DIY Tea Station can be made to fit your tea style!

Choose a location. I prefer to have my tea station in my kitchen, but you can choose any room in your home where you find it will be most suitable to your needs; think dining room, guest room, or sitting room!

Add some style. You want your tea station to compliment your home, not distract from it. For me, I use a nice placement to set up my tea station, which not only looks nice but limits the mess! You can make your tea station as stylish or simplistic as you like!

Fill with must haves. Your tea station needs a few must haves, such as your kettle, sweeteners and of course, tea! Thanks to Tea Sparrow, my tea station is always stocked with fabulous tea options! DIY Tea Station Pic

My personal favourite recently has been Clouds and Mist! It is an organic green tea with aromas of smoky, citrus and vegetal. If you aren’t familiar with Tea Sparrow, it is a tea subscription service.

For $20 a month, you can have a delicious selection of loose leaf teas delivered to your door! You also get free shipping in Canada and the Continental USA!

As I mentioned before, I am a tea conservative, so it has been extremely nice to be able to have someone put together a box of fabulous teas for me to try without having to leave the comfort of my home!

I’m a coffee girl through and through but if I do have a cup of tea (once in a blue moon) then I like a nice cup of Lapsang Souchong.

I’m a tea drinker too and I have a similar set up. I love black teas the most but sometimes try a green, white or red tea.
