Easter Carrot Cupcakes

Easter is a little over a month away, which means it is time to start thinking about holiday treats! One of the easiest desserts that you can make all your own are cupcakes!

For me, these Easter Carrot Cupcakes are not only delicious, but ridiculously easy to make! They are fabulous for a brunch, school celebration or to leave for the Easter Bunny!

For these cupcakes, I went super easy! I used a boxed mix for the chocolate cupcakes. I went with chocolate so it gave the illusion of dirt for the carrots! I then made my best ever buttercream frosting! Keep in mind, you can also go with whatever your favourite frosting is!

I then used Wilton Colour Dye to get the green and orange frosting colours. In a small circular motion, pipe out the orange frosting to create the carrot, followed by a little piped out tip of the green.

These are cute. Are you like me, and save that nice big icing carrot for the end?

I think that here we’d have to use a white cake mix to simulate snow! Though today it has thawed quite a lot, there’s still no sign of soil though πŸ™

These are adorable and my family isn’t big on lots of icing so these are perfect! And I do myself love icing so this should work for my whole family.

The Wilton dyes make the colours so vivid, don’t they!
