One of my favourite holidays to create yummy desserts for has always been Easter.

It is the one time of year where the awesomeness of pastel colours really comes through!

These Easter Oreo Cookies are perfect of kids of all ages! Such a fun dessert recipe to make!

For this Easter, I wanted to go with something super easy to make, but also creative.

I went with my Easter Oreo Cookies and they are perfect for kids of all ages!

EASTER OREO COOKIES

One of the best aspects to this yummy creation is the fact you only need 3 ingredients! Obviously, you want to pick your favourite flavour of Oreo Cookies. I am all about the Double Stuf!

Secondly, you want to get yourself some Wilton Candy Melts. You can also use regular white chocolate if necessary. Lastly, you need Easter Sprinkles! I was very lucky to find a pack of Wilton Easter Sprinkles at my local grocery store!

To start, I melted the Wilton Candy Melts in the microwave until they were completely melted. I stirred the mixture and then dipped each Oreo halfway in.

You could just as easily dip the Oreo in fully, but it just depends on your preference. You could also colour the melted Candy Melts for more colour to each cookie!

After dipping each Oreo, I laid them out carefully on parchment paper. This is perfect for when they are cooled off as well, since they won’t stick.

I then sprinkled each Oreo with sprinkles. I went with different sprinkles on each for a fun look.

You need to allow time for each Oreo to harden before moving them off the parchment paper.

I have to say that I loved using the bunny sprinkles the most! I am such a sucker for pastel colours!

I surprised my kids with these cookies after they came back from skating. They squealed upon seeing all the yummy options they had.

As you can probably imagine, the Oreo Cookies didn’t last long at all!

I love Oreo’s but this recipe sends them over the top. I don’t know what Wilton Candy Melts are although they look like they are either chocolate or icing but either way they look yummy and they would make an Oreo taste even better.

They should be fine as long as they aren’t sitting in the heat.
