As much as I absolutely love cats, something has to be said for the adorable nature of a bunny. Soft, fluffy and lovable is the perfect combination. For my Easy Bunny Cupcakes, I wanted to pair cuteness with deliciousness!
Whether you are planning an Easter gathering or hosting a bunny birthday, these cupcakes are the perfect choice. Plus, they are ridiculously simple to make!
Easy Bunny Cupcakes
For the cupcakes, I took my Vanilla Confetti Cake Recipe and made it into cupcakes! Obviously, you can go with any recipe you choose or save even more time and go with a boxed recipe.
What I love about homemade cupcakes is that they hold together quite well. Plus, confetti in the recipe just puts it over the top for when you bite into enjoy them!
While I normally use my Best Ever Buttercream Frosting, in the interest of saving time, I went with Betty Crocker Frosting. I chose cream cheese to pair with the vanilla.
Since you want the bunny to be easy to see, make sure to go with a white/cream frosting.
To make the adorable pink nose and black whiskers, I went with Wilton Sparkle Gel. I was able to snag them at a great price from my local Walmart.
You will want to use the pink gel for the little nose and then the black gel for the whiskers and lips! Keep in mind that you can always change colours if you want something more unique!
What I loved about this cupcake project was how ridiculously easy it was. I didn’t pressure myself to make something perfect. I wanted something easy and fun and that is exactly how the cupcakes turned out.
