Easy Easter Treats for Kids

Easter is on its way, which means it is time to create some Easy Easter Treats for Kids. The best part is that the kids get to make the treats themselves with a little help from mom or dad of course!

The hardest part of making these treats are trying not to eat them all while you make them. Each child can make their own special treats to share or enjoy themselves! Easy Easter Treats for Kids

Easy Easter Treats for Kids

You will need:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal
  • buttercream frosting
  • sprinkles
  • jelly beans (optional)
  • cookie cutters

Easy Easter Treats for Kids

You will begin by making the Rice Krispies mixture. In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat the marshmallows and butter for 2 minutes in the microwave. Stir and microwave for another minute. Stir until smooth. Add Rice Krispies and mix until combined. Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with cooking spray and fill with mixture. Let cool in the fridge until firm.

After making the buttercream frosting, have each child cut out shapes with the cookie cutters. They can then decorate their treats with frosting, sprinkles and jelly beans as desired.
