Egg & Tomato Appetizers

With the holidays here, it really is the ideal time to start thinking about appetizers. Whether you will be having a party, family get-together, or staying home, you can definitely appreciate a yummy appetizer! I wanted to create something that would be perfect to enjoy with your hands as well as something unique.

My family adores eggs, so it only made sense it should feature eggs! I wanted a fresh fruit or veggie to add a unique spin, so I went with cherry tomatoes since they are always a hit. My Egg & Tomato Appetizers will have your guests asking for more!

Egg & Tomato Appetizers

You will need:
Hard Boiled Eggs
Cherry Tomatoes
Seasoning of Choice

Using a sharp knife, cut the tops off the hard boiled eggs. Then carefully give each egg a little squeeze and it will start to loosen the yolk, which you can then pop out easily.

Cut each cherry tomato in half and place inside each hard boiled egg. I added one cherry tomato per egg, but for a stronger kick to each bite, add a couple.

Add a toothpick into each egg & tomato appetizer if desired. Add seasoning of choice.

This is such a unique idea! I guess you could stuff the eggs with anything you wanted. Tomatoes are always a good choice!
