Hello Kitty Cupcakes Tutorial

Hello Kitty Cupcakes Tutorial

I am a huge fan of Hello Kitty, so when my Daughter’s birthday came up, of course I wanted to make Hello Kitty Cupcakes. Best of all, they are beyond easy and fun to make.

♥  Bake your cupcakes and allow them to cool completely prior to decorating

♥  Make a batch of buttercream frosting with my Best Ever Buttercream Recipe!

♥  Tint your icing to necessary colors {black, yellow and pink or red for the bow}. I personally use Wilton Icing Colors because they are fantastic and hold their color perfectly.  Hello Kitty Cupcakes Tutorial

♥  Pipe out the whiskers and eyes using the black-tinted frosting.

♥  Pipe out a nose using the yellow-tinted frosting.

♥  Create a bow by piping using the pink/red-tinted frosting.

♥  Fill in the cupcake with white frosting.

What I love most about these cupcakes is the fact that they can be created at any skill level, so be creative and enjoy. This will definitely be a huge hit for any occasion!

adorable, and I’ll bet they tasted as good as they look too. How long did they last 5 mins until they were all gone?

Very cute! We have a few Hello Kitty fans in this family. I think I might even be able to handle the decorating needed to do these.
