For most cat owners, their least favourite cat chore is doing the cat litter. Since I have multiple cats, I have multiple litter boxes and I can’t say I look forward to the task of cleaning them.
I have tried so many different types of cat litter over the years and I was actually pretty excited to try out the Arm & Hammer™ Clump & Seal™ LightWeight Cat Litter. I hadn’t had the opportunity to try it before, so I made sure to get enough to fill all my cat boxes.
Love Your Cat Litter!
Even before I got the Arm & Hammer™ Clump & Seal™ LightWeight Cat Litter home, I was already experiencing a huge difference with the fact that it is 50% lighter. I could actually pick up the box without any kind of an issue.
Normally, I struggle with both hands to get litter into a cart or ask my husband to do it. However, each box of Arm & Hammer™ Clump & Seal™ LightWeight Cat Litter contains the same amount of uses as regular Arm & Hammer™ Cat Litter at half the weight, thanks to lower-density micro-particles!
The litter boxes in my home are all downstairs, which normally would have meant several trips up and down the stairs carrying the heavy boxes. Thankfully, Arm & Hammer™ Clump & Seal™ LightWeight Cat Litter was ridiculously easy to carry downstairs and pour into each litter box.
There was also no dust clouds since it is 100% dust free! Being made with fine micro-particles also meant that the feel of the litter was much softer. I want the very best litter experience for my cats, so litter softer on their paws is a huge plus!
Arm & Hammer™ Clump & Seal™ LightWeight Cat Litter guarantees 7-day odour control, so I looked forward to putting that to the test after my cats had a chance to use their new litter! I allowed two full days of litter box use before I went in to scoop. The first thing I noticed was there was no odour. I started to scoop and that is usually when litter odour hits me, but not this time.
The litter has moisture-activated micro-granules that form a tight seal around cat waste odour. Just scooping the litter was different. The best way I can describe it is scooping sand versus wet sand.
Normally, I have a horrible time with heavy clumps that break apart. However, the plant-derived particles help create solid clumps for easy scooping. I was able to scoop a litter box in roughly half the time it usually takes me.
