Every cat has a birthday. Most cat owners don’t have the first clue what to do in terms of a birthday cake for their cat. For many, they aren’t even sure what day their cat was born.
Thankfully, if you aren’t sure of the date, you can just pick one day a year that you celebrate your spoiled kitty. My How to Make an Easy Birthday Cake for Your Cat is ridiculously fast and your cat will thank you!
How to Make an Easy Birthday Cake for Your Cat!
Well there are many options when it comes to making a birthday cake for your cat, I went with the easy route. Start with whatever favourite wet cat food your cat enjoys.
You want to get that cake-shape, so carefully remove the wet food from the can. Otherwise, you could use a cookie cutter to get that round shape to start.
Secondly, top the wet food with shredded cheese. No cat can resist the deliciousness of yummy cheese, plus it makes for a great topping!
Thirdly, you want to take your cat’s favourite treats and add them as the final topping. My cats absolutely love my Figaro’s Favourite Homemade Cat Treats. They are easy to make and hard to resist!
I added a birthday candle as the final special touch. Obviously, you want to make sure to remove this prior to giving it to your kitty to enjoy.
My Lumiere couldn’t get enough of this delicious birthday cake. It had all his favourites and he scarfed it down!
To add to the festivities, Lumiere ended up sharing with Anson! It didn’t last long at all!

Such a lovely cake. Our guys typically get a steak with a candle and some garnish. Only once I actually made a “cake,” when Cookie was recovering from pancreatitis so a steak was out of the question. So I took her prescription canned food, added a few pieces of boiled turkey breast, couple veggies cut into shapes and a bit of a “sauce” from the turkey broth. Otherwise, they are perfectly happy with just a hunk of beef 😉

Super cute post and creative idea for a birthday cake for cats! I was trying to think of how I could adapt this to my dogs. The best I could come up,with is no matter what I put on the bottom, if I topped it with shredded cheese, that would be all it would take for my dogs to celebrate. Haha!

Being looking for something special for our cat. He will be 19 on the 20th June 2021. We were told he was a late June baby so picked hubby’s birthday so they share their prawns. He loves cheese slices , so will try grated cheese for him.
