I was in the mood to decorate cookies. I wanted to go with a simple sugar cookie, but wasn’t wanting to spend the time rolling them out and using cutters.

Thankfully, I found a great sugar cookie recipe on Allrecipes.com. I decided to go with it and created my Monster Sugar Cookie Pie. It is spooktacular!Monster Sugar Cookie Pie that is the perfect dessert for Halloween, Fall, or any occasion!

Monster Sugar Cookie Pie

You will need:
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
buttercream frosting
Wilton decorating eyeballs

Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Next, stir in the egg and vanilla. Finally, combine the mixture with the dry ingredients.

In a greased pie pan, create one giant sugar cookie. Bake for 20+ minutes until cooked through.

You will need to cool the cookie pie completely before you frost. I used my Best Ever Buttercream Frosting and it was perfect! I then added Wilton Decorating Eyeballs and it became a Monster Sugar Cookie Pie!

Great idea! I think I’d much prefer to decorate one huge cookie pie like this, rather than lots of little cookies.
