One thing I find myself doing at least once a day is vacuuming. It has been this way for years and through a countless amount of vacuums. Most vacuums have lasted less than a year in my home as I make sure to get as much use out of them as I can. The cat hair alone takes a lot out of a vacuum.
I have long daydreamed about having an Oreck Vacuum. I honestly didn’t have a specific one in mind, but I knew the quality was excellent regardless of the model. The first thing I did when the Oreck Venture Pro Bagged Canister Vacuum arrived at my door was tear into the box like a child at Christmas. I had done my research and knew I was getting one amazing vacuum. I was able to setup in less than 5 minutes and the design is ridiculously sleek.
It is also only 13 lbs, so it was like lifting nothing, which is a far cry from other vacuums I have had in the past. I popped open the on-board tools compartment, which contains a crevice tool and a 2-in-1 dusting brush. I was beyond impressed and I hadn’t even tried it out yet!
The upstairs of my home is all hardwood. In the past, I have struggled with a thorough clean when it comes to anything other than carpet. However, the Oreck has a level of suction I have experienced with no other vacuum. It has a 5 speed variable speed control, so you are in control of the suction level. You can control the brush with the touch of a button, which means you can move easily from carpet to hardwood!
To add to the awesome, the mobility and steering is a dream. There is HEPA Media Bagged Filtration that traps up to 99.97% dust and pollens down to 0.3 microns, which keeps dirt and debris from coming back into the air! When it was time to vacuum the stairs, the 13″ nozzle made it a breeze. This is the first vacuum I have ever experienced with an automatic cord rewind and what a game changer it is. My home was cleaner than I had ever seen it thanks to the Oreck.
I have been using the Oreck for a couple months now and all I can tell you is that it is worth every single penny. The vacuum experience I now have is beyond fabulous and my house has never looked better. I get complimented often at how clean my house is despite having kids and cats.
