Out of This World Cherry Cobbler

One great aspect of summer is all the fresh fruit that becomes available. We are huge fans of strawberries, raspberries, cherries and blueberries. There is nothing quite like using fresh fruit in a recipe. However, as fall season is almost upon us, it is time to snag the last of the delicious summer fresh fruit at your local grocer.

With my husband’s love of everything cherry, I just had to make something special. This Out of the World Cherry Cobbler will have you asking for seconds and probably thirds. I found the recipe I used at AllRecipes.com!

You will need:

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl, mix together 3/4 cup sugar, milk, baking powder, salt, flour and butter.

Using a 9-inch square pan, lay cherries in the bottom.

Spread bowl mixture over top of cherries.

In a smaller bowl, mix together cornstarch and 1 cup white sugar. Stir in the boiling water. Pour mixture over the top of the dough.

Bake for 45 minutes and Enjoy!
