When I think of my Mom, I often think of the delicious treats she would make or buy for us as kids. Since we absolutely could never get enough of cookies, I can remember her buying sandies.
So when I came upon the recipe, I knew I had to make them. The Pecan Sandies turned out deliciously and are meant to be shared with those you love!
Pecan Sandies In No Time At All!

Pecan Sandies
These cookies offer a delicious punch of pecan!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 and 1/2 cups pecans chopped
- 1 and 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 cup butter soft
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions

Using a mixer, cream the butter.

Add 1/2 cup icing sugar followed by water and vanilla.

Stir in flour and pecans.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls.

Bake at 325 Degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.

After cooling, roll cookies in icing sugar to coat.
