Potty Training Your Toddler

When it comes to potty training your toddler, understanding that each child is different is so important. You need to keep in mind that each child is ready in their own time and that is completely okay. Some parents find their child is ready to potty train at age 2, while others find 3-4 years old as the magic number.

While each child is different, having the right potty training products is a must for everyone! My youngest is only 2, but I have started the process of potty training for him. To help with the adventure, I have some seriously fabulous Baby Bjorn products as my go-to potty training must haves! Potty Training Your Toddler doesn’t have to be tough at all!

The Baby Bjorn Bathroom Sets Set are fantastic. They have three fabulous potty styles that allow you to choose the best style for your child as well for the home. The choices are their Toilet Trainer, Potty Chair and their Smart Potty.

I have started my son using the Potty Chair. I have it setup in our living room for easy access. I love how sturdy this potty is, which makes putting it in an easy access area, like my living room, a no brainer. It comes in a variety of colours and the inner potty is easy to remove and clean!

The Baby Bjorn Smart Potty is not only compact, but it’s portal, which means you can take it on the go! This potty would be perfect for a smaller room in your home and/or taken in the car. Potty training can’t be done at home alone, so having a portal potty for your toddler just makes sense.

The Toilet Trainer is adjustable and fits most toilet seats, so its the perfect addition to any bathroom. The Toilet Trainer is the solution for when you have a very small bathroom or when you are ready to make the transition from potty to toilet. The seat is very comfortable and easy to wipe clean. It has a handle, so it can be hung up in the bathroom out of the way.

Baby Bjorn Step Stool

As all toddlers need a step up now and again, the Baby Bjorn Step Stool is a welcome addition to any potty training journey. It is perfect to use with the Toilet Trainer for a step up to the toilet and/or for use at the sink when washing little hands! I actually have a couple stools, which allows my youngest access to a sink regardless of which bathroom he is using!

MY son is wild for the colour orange so I am sure these would inspire him to use them!

Baby Bjorn makes some impressive products! We almost bought the smart potty except my girl totally surprised us by just going to the big potty and took to it instantly. Didn’t expect that to be so easy, especially since potty training my boy was beyond frustrating!

I just had a Toilet Trainer and of course a stool for mine and it worked well. As you mentioned each child is different and when they can be potty trained varies too. Some of my 7 were around 2 and others between 3 & 4. It really doesn’t matter how old they are, the main thing is that there’s not too much stress made about it.

Potty training wasnt too difficult, just let my son go at his own pace with a bit of encouragement and celebration when successful

My little nephew was so proud when he learned to use the “big boy potty” that he actually had to show me. On Skype. Lol! I wanted to be encouraging so I praised him for being so grown up while I tried not to watch! 🙂

I have a Baby Bjorn potty for my 2 year old! He’s very interested in going potty because his big brother uses the toilet and he watches. I’m sooooo thankful he’s interested because his brother took FOREVER to train.
