When it comes to my favorite way to cook, I am a huge fan of the beauty of the slow cooker. I love the fact that I can throw everything together, set the time and poof! So for today, I decided to try something new in my slow cooker for dinner. Since my Husband is a huge fan of BBQ, I went with a Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken that is quick and easy to make. You will need:

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Green Pepper (chop)
  • 4 Red Potatoes (chop)
  • 1 Red Pepper (chop)
  • 1 Onion (chop)
  • 1 Garlic Clove (chop)
  • 8 oz Tomato Sauce (or Tomato Paste added with water)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Tapioca (Quick Cooking)
  • 1 teaspooon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard
  • 1.5 Tablespoon Brown Sugar

Take all the ingredients and toss them in the slow cooker together, mix and set on low for 4 hours!

Although this recipe appeals to me, I wouldn’t I use tapioca because I’m not a fan.
