Summer is here. One of the best parts of summer is all the fabulous fruit that becomes available at my local grocer. One of my favourite fruits has always been strawberries. I especially love to feature strawberries in my dessert creations, specifically Strawberry Shortcake.
The recipe is not only ridiculously easy, but its no-bake. It makes the perfect addition to afternoon tea, which I can never seem to get enough of!
Strawberry Shortcake
You Will Need:
Angel Food Cake Cups
Whipped Cream
Strawberries, chopped
You will find angel food cake cups at your local grocery store. It really is the best way to save time and they are pretty delicious.
You will need to chop the strawberries as desired. Next, plate with the cake cup, followed by whipped cream, strawberries and then repeat with another layer of whipped cream and strawberries on top.
The Cat & Mouse Tea Service for One is the perfect addition to any afternoon tea time. The tea cup features a kitty cat and includes a mesh strainer for loose leaf tea. The accompanying plate features a little mouse. A touch of Victorian elegance with the fun of a cat and mouse!
