Adventures and children go together like peanut butter and jelly. Children are always learning and growing, while navigating this thing called life. As parents, we really need to encourage their adventures and join in on the fun.
For our latest adventure to New Brunswick last month, my youngest insisted on wearing his new Thomas & Friends sunhat. It fit him adorably and he absolutely loves everything Thomas the Train. It has now become his favourite hat to wear everywhere he goes!
Thomas & Friends™ is encouraging you to help your little one uncover a new adventure while bringing their best friend along for the ride! Here are some fabulous tips to help you do just that!
Get creative. Just because your little one wants to go to Mars doesn’t mean it can’t happen! We encourage you to bring your child’s wildest dreams to life with a little creativity and imagination. When they’re older and reflect on the special time you spent together, they’ll remember the work you put into making their dream come true!
All aboard. Everything is more fun when you have your best friends and loved ones with you. Along with Thomas, encourage your child to bring their friends – real or not – along for the ride. Together they’ll create special memories that will last a lifetime.
Be silly. When your little ones goes on their adventure, get into the action as much as they do. They’ll be thrilled by your participation which will work to enhance their overall experience.
Embrace the outdoors. Special summer activities should absolutely include the great outdoors! Here in Canada we only have a few short months of outdoor time and they should be embraced. Encourage your little one to choose an outdoor adventure as it will create additional opportunities for exploration and discovery.
No matter what activity your little one wants to try this summer, it will be something to remember! Planning ahead, using our simple tips as a guideline and bringing great friends like Thomas along is sure to create lasting memories for years to come.
