It should come as no surprise that I absolutely love WordPress. When I began my blog years ago, I started on Blogger. That experience lasted all of a month before I made the switch to WordPress and never looked back. Whether you are a seasoned user or a newbie, working with WordPress makes everything better.

I am often asked about must-have plugins. So for the many who have asked and for the many to come, here are what I consider to be the Top 5 WordPress Plugins!

Top 5 WordPress Plugins

Top 5 WordPress Plugins

Akismet – Spam happens. However, it shouldn’t end up overwhelming your day. Akismet helps filter your comments for spam. While filtering spam 100% is near impossible, Akismet gets pretty close!

WP Total Cache – Speed matters. This very fast caching plugin will help your website be at its best. Saving you a lot of headaches in the long run.

Yoast SEO – Write better content and optimize your site. You will never look at writing a post the same again after using this awesome plugin!

Contact Form 7 – Super easy contact form setup. You could almost do this in your sleep!

Simple Social Icons – Social profiles matter. This plugin is ridiculously easy to setup with size, colour and alignment options!

I’m sorry but I don’t use wordpress but I’m not a blogger so that’s perhaps the reason.
