Halloween is right around the corner, literally! For those who still have some Halloween baking to be done, these Vintage Halloween Cupcakes are the perfect fit! They don’t take a lot of prep time and making them yourself is a great way to save money!
Vintage Halloween Cupcakes
You will need:
Chocolate Cupcakes – You can either make homemade or use a boxed cake mix to save time.
Decorating frosting – I went with my homemade buttercream frosting as it is sinfully delicious!
Wilton Icing Colour – I used orange minimally to create a lighter orange look for the frosting.
Vintage Halloween Cupcake Liners and Toothpick Toppers – You can also use a solid-colour cupcake liner and put Halloween stickers on toothpicks if you can’t find the right style!
Once you have everything, you can start creating your cupcakes. For the frosting, I piped it out using a Wilton 1M tip. I also used additional milk in my frosting to allow for more of a light and airy frosting.

I think cupcakes are the most fun for kids – somehow they are WAY more fun than cakes – even if they are made with all the same ingredients. Cupcakes are just MORE FUN! LOL 🙂
