A delicious apple pie with a bit of spunk!
You will need to have a pie crust ready to fill. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, place cubed apples. Add lemon juice and mix.
In another bowl, mix together sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Pour mixture over apples and stir until apples are coated.
Pour apple mixture into pie shell.
In a bowl, mix brown sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Pour mixture over apple mixture. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.
Bake pie for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 25 until golden brown and bubbly!
