Cinnamon Roll Bites

I love cinnamon rolls. I can remember making them with my mother when I was a child. There is nothing quite as sweet, gooey and absolutely delicious as cinnamon rolls.

Recently, I came upon Cinnamon Roll Bites. They are not only as fabulous as regular cinnamon rolls, but they are super easy to make. My first batch lasted all of about 10 minutes after my family devoured them.

Cinnamon Roll Bites Recipe

Cinnamon Roll Bites

I got my recipe inspiration thanks to The Recipe Rebel and so glad I did!

You will need:

2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter, melted and 1/2 cup butter, cold
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the glaze:

2 tbsp milk
1/3 cup icing sugar

Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Cut 1/2 cup butter into small cubes and cut in butter until combined well (butter will be pea-sized). Stir in milk and form dough into a ball.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9-inch pie plate. Add 3 tbsp melted butter to the bottom of the pan and swirl until coated.

In another bowl, combine cinnamon, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Form 1-inch dough balls, roll them in sugar mixture until coated.

Place dough balls in pie plate and drizzle melted butter over the balls. Bake for 23 minutes or until cooked.

Drizzle the glaze mixture over the cinnamon roll bites and enjoy!

These look so good! Although I’ve eaten MANY cinnamon rolls, I’ve never made them myself. I just assumed that they were difficult to make. Thanks to this quick recipe, I’m going to try it.
