Get Your Home New Year Ready

Christmas has come and gone. December was a blur of Christmas decorations, baking, festive activities and just underlining busy everything! One thing that has really been neglected due to the holidays is my home. Just a quick glance around my home makes it clear that I really need to do some cleaning before the New Year comes!

After all, it is important to get your home New Year ready so it is fresh and ready to take on 2016! Your home works hard for you throughout the year and now it is time to give a little back! get your home new year ready

Get Your Home New Year Ready

Change Your Furnace Filters. A fresh environment in your home is a must. After the busy holidays and more traffic in your home, it’s time to change those furnace filters. My hubby does a great job of remembering this task monthly. It is important to have the furnace working its best and this means changing the filter!

Clean the Fridge. With all the baking and cooking, our fridge has really seen better days. Just opening the door and taking a look around shows me that maple syrup was popular this month in our home! A nice cleaning will have your fridge ready for the New Year in no time!

Clean the bathrooms. Most of us have guests during the holidays and since the bathrooms are the most used rooms in the home, it is time to pull out the cleaning supplies. Your bathroom and future guests will thank you for it! Get Your Home New Year Ready 2 Clean the Dishwasher. This holiday I baked up a storm, which meant I was using my dishwasher more than usual. I am thankful it was always up for the task, but now it is time to pay it forward. My dishwasher may look clean at first glance, but I know there are hidden parts that are not.

Finish® Dishwasher Cleaner is my go-to product! It has a powerful formula with 5x Power Actions that help maintain my machine, remove limescale, clear grease, clean hidden parts and freshens my dishwasher in no time at all! My dishwasher has never been so clean and shiny either! Get Your Home New Year Ready 3 I am always a fan of easy-of-use, so it’s nice that I can just peel off the sticker, place upside down in the dishwasher, and run my machine on its hottest cycle! Use Finish® Dishwasher Cleaner once a month to keep your dishwasher at its best!

Thanks for introducing the cleaner! Never seen it before – I use to just clean it by hand, but this is a way better option! thanks!

I think my biggest task for preparing for New Years is de-cluttering…. I will feel a lot lighter entering the new year with less junk in the house!

I love starting the New Year with a clean house! But I don’t think I’ll have time to do much cleaning before 2016 comes rushing in this year. I seem to be behind with everything. So I guess my New Years Resolution will be to get that cleaning and organizing done!

When you said clean the dishwasher I never thought it would be so simple. I am putting the finish dishwasher cleaner on my shopping list. I wish they made something similar to clean my oven.

I wish I was as organized; I always find myself scrambling and stressed out during the holidays and especially with the cleaning regiment! Happy New Year!

Some unexpected events mean that January has gotten away from me. My normal list of January things will be a February list this year. Thanks for the reminders and the information about the dishwasher cleaner and that contest.

My steam cleaner arrived today, so I have no excuse not to start the spring cleaning early. Just not too sure whether I can use it to clean the insides of my windows when it’s freezing outside – any ideas?
